I am out of control

We all subconsciously know that we don’t have control of life. We have some daily control, but it becomes very little as we get to the big things.

However much we try to ignore it, this awareness resides inside all of us. And it’s the reason why we are insecure.

It can result in trouble with daily functioning and productivity.

It can also result in seeking distractions with “feel goods” like alcohol, weed, pharmaceuticals, sex and relationships, food, and powerful titles, like PhD, VP, MD, or guru.

Insecurity can also push me into constant activity….producing, building and acquiring.

But all of us are grappling with knowing that we lack ultimate control.

This is our shared experience. Making sure I am ok, that I’m good enough, that I’m worthy. Seeking reassurance that I’m doing enough for myself and my tribe.

One thing brings absolute peace to this anxiety:

The realization that there’s nothing you need to do, nothing you must have, and no one to chase.

You are good enough just being human.  In fact, you are a sacred miracle.

This conscious realization is profound.

Once you glimpse it…even for a moment, you will gain control over your life.

Not control over what happens. But control over how you live it:

Suffering or Peace is your choice.
